The Owners of Robertswood House

We bought Robertswood as a bed and breakfast in 2004 and spent 9 years doing bed, breakfast and evening meals. In 2013 we switched to self catering which has proved very popular with many of our guests returning each year. We are constantly improving our lovely house with the addition of the lovely bar in the lounge, a spa garden, designated BBQ area and now full house Wi-Fi coverage.

Any holiday rental is only as good as its location. Robertswood House offers blissful privacy while remaining close enough to local shops, restaurants, and pubs. There are also plenty of walking trails from the front door along some fantastic routes, local attractions, and, further afield, the stunning Peak District National Park. While some of our visitors choose to unwind and stay close to home, others want to roam, explore, and partake in the many outdoor activities the Peak District has to offer. The main reasons why guests stay with us at Robertswood are for family get togethers, reunion of friends or just a break whether a short weekend or longer holiday to enjoy the fantastic peak district and local area. Our guests often book because of a special celebration, such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding, so its important to us that we offer everything a large group needs to enjoy their stay and that’s why we’re guided by our reviews importantly they give us an insight into what we offer, that we’re getting it right we want you to know what our other guests are saying about their stay!
